Color Study (2023)
This piece is a pattern and color study where I attempt to create 3 completely different designs utilizing the same cuts and base design. Although this initially started as a digital piece, I extended the project into a paper cut out piece where I practiced mixing gouache paint to get the same color effect as the digital version. Essentially, the color usage of the pattern creates the illusion that the triptych is composed of three different compositions and even different in dimensionality.Illustrator, gouache on paper
